You're Invited: SoundCtrl Presents "Digital Record Labels"
MobileBehavior and Next Great Thing are helping to start SoundCtrl, an industry group that is focused on promoting the convergence in music and digital media. The group is made up of music industry professionals and senior executives in digital media and technology. SoundCtrl aims to:
- Promote NYC music and tech scene
- Foster community and nurture collaboration
- Create awareness, focusing on innovation
- Identify emerging trends and best practices
- Contribute to the growth and prosperity in music and tech
In addition to building a vibrant online community SoundCtrl will also host a series of monthly events featuring industry leaders and New York based music and technology companies. The aim of the events is to bring the community together through knowledge sharing and networking.
Join us on Thursday, May 7 for the "beta" launch of SoundCtrl from 6:30 - 9:30 at Le Poisson Rouge in New York City. For this inaugural event, we’ll be bringing together influencers from both the new media and music industries to discuss emerging business models for digital record labels.
