Evernote Receives $10 Million Towards Becoming Your Long Term Memory

California startup Evernote is receiving $10 million in funding to go towards geographic expansion and platform development. Its success is based on our need for remembering, via note taking. Whether on the subway, at work, or in the grocery store Evernote allows users to take notes using audio, photos, or text. Web Worker Daily, a hub for the digitally efficient, said it well: Evernote wants to be your long term memory. Everyone has their preference for capturing those great ideas and Evernote provides options cross platform. The application is currently available for Android, iPhone, Blackberry, Palm's webOs, Mac, and PC.
