Dockers x Shazam: Mobile App Lets Users "Click" On Super Bowl Advertising

Looking forward to the Super Bowl, some brands are moving away from traditional advertising while others choose to experiment with television as a medium. Levi Strauss & Co.'s Dockers brand is partnering with mobile music app Shazam to let smartphone users tag an ad and receive branded mobile content. This will make the Super Bowl spot "Men Without Pants," in a sense, "clickable like digital media."

We're assuming that an original song will be featured in the spot that Shazam will recognize to then pull up content. Like Bank Run, this strategy makes use of our ever present mobile devices to create more relevant and engaging transmedia marketing messages.
