Lost Finale Featured Promotional QR Code For True Blood

During last night’s tear-jerker Lost finale, fans noticed the flash of a red QR code during a True Blood commercial. The image flashed so fast that there was no way for for anyone to have scanned it. In fact, it was designed so that people who were DVRing Lost in the NYC, Philadelphia, and LA markets would have to timeshift to scan the image. It contained an exclusive clip from season 3. Embedding this type of puzzle based access into Lost's commercials was a very smart tactic. Its fanbase is engaged and used to solving mysteries.
