Technology Architect

David is currently MobileBehavior’s Mobile Technology Architect and leads the development of mobile channel strategy for clients, determining the best pathways for brands to reach their target audiences and working with technology solution providers to implement these strategies. He also acts as the product manager of the Global Mobile Toolkit, a planning, analytics and execution platform being developed by the company for its agency and brand clients. He is currently spearheading the development and design of the platform together with Seanita Tolliver, and is creating an ecosystem of partners and vendors to empower the Toolkit’s various functionalities.

David first joined MobileBehavior in April of 2009 as a research intern, leading information aggregation efforts for global mobile markets and providing support for the company’s research-based new business initiatives. During his internship, he led the development of the first set of features and functionalities for what would eventually be known as the Global Mobile Toolkit.

With almost eight years of global experience in the mobile content and mobile marketing industries, David has worked as head of operations for mobile startups in Johannesburg, South Africa and in Manila, the Philippines. During this time, he worked extensively with global agencies and brands to plan and execute some of the most successful and ground-breaking SMS-based mobile marketing campaigns in Africa and Asia. The largest he has managed was an SMS contest conducted in 2003 by a national fast food chain in the Philippines that generated over 3 million entries in 3 months, increasing the restaurant’s average sales per customer by 25%.

David attended the Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. He received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in 2008, majoring in marketing and technology industry management.
